50:50 Section

You may opt to contribute half of your normal pension contributions in return for half your normal pension. This is known as the 50:50 section of the scheme and is designed to help members stay in the scheme when times are financially tough.

You can find out how much it will cost to buy extra or lost pension by using the calculator to obtain a quote and if you want to apply you will need to print off and complete the application form and send this in to this office.

You will need to obtain medical clearance from your GP, or other qualified doctor if you want to buy extra pension.

In-House Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs)

An AVC is a scheme where money is deducted directly from your salary and invested through an AVC provider.
