Following changes to the LGPS regulations on 23 September 2020 new regulations regarding employer management and risk came into force. These regulations are named the Local Government Pension Scheme (Amendment) (Number 2) Regulations 2020.
Consequently the Pension Fund has made changes to its Funding Strategy Statement and developed two new policies – a Contributions Review Policy and a Deferred Debt and Debt Spreading Agreement policy. You may recall the Fund consulted all employers on the content last summer. The policies have since been approved by Pensions Committee
